With its OptiFloww technology, the Quantum is setting new standards in the area of plot combine headers. OptiFloww ensures optimum feeding performance even under challenging harvesting conditions such as lodged grain or heavy/bulky crops. The split intake auger improves material flow, particularly in the case of rapeseed, where it eliminates the need for special rapeseed headers. The compacting drum ensures perfect leveling of the harvested material and efficient transfer to the threshing unit.

Header for row crops

This header consists of a cutting table for harvesting soybeans in widely spaced rows. The flat angle of the picking elements and the intake belt ensure gentle lifting of the plants, a low cutting height, and an optimum intake. The stone trap prevents the intake of foreign objects. Thanks to its modular design, theheader for row crops can be adapted perfectly to your needs and the respective soil conditions. The row units are hung flexibly, but can also be fixed in place. Rigid, height-adjustable, or rotating cutter skids are also available for low cutting heights as well as side carrying wheels.

Before harvesters are allowed to leave the field with the harvested material, all seeds must be rendered sterile. WINTERSTEIGER has developed a grinder that is perfect for this purpose, with core components that already have a proven track record in industrial use. The V-shaped, toothed grinding rollers run at various speeds and boast high efficiency and effectiveness. They are hardened and have been designed to ensure a long service life. The spacing between the grinding rollers can be adjusted continuously and precisely, meaning that all common crops – from rapeseed and cereals to soy and corn – can be processed using the same rollers. The control system ensures the correct grinding gap, and dosed feeding of the grinder prevents blockages. If a foreign body gets into the system, the rollers are protected by a spring-loaded overload safeguard.
