Engine & drive: the driving force behind the Quantum Pro

The Quantum Pro plot combine is equipped with a powerful DEUTZ engine. This is installed at the rear to protect thedriver from noise and radiation heat. What's more, the engine is really easy to access, in turn facilitating routine inspections and maintenance. The radiator cover and rotary sieve prevent dirt and dust from accumulating inside the machine's radiator. 

For the purpose of reducing emissions, the Quantum Pro plot combine has a diesel particulate filter, a diesel exhaust fluid system (DEF), and a diagnostic interface. And thanks to the low fuel consumption and generously dimensioned 150 liter tank, you can complete a long day's harvesting without having to refuel.

Intelligent drive options for perfect traction

The hydrostatic ground drive from WINTERSTEIGER is designed for a driving speed of up to 25 km/h, made possible by wheels that are individually equipped with hydrostatic high-performance wheel hub motors for direct drive.This includes … 

  • 2WD on the front axle with or without differential lock to enable a travel speed of up to 25 km/h . 

  • ... 4WD (can be switched on or off) with 3 differential locks, which are mounted in the longitudinal and transverse positions for optimal traction. In addition, each wheel hub motor is supplied with a constant flow of oil. 

  • ... a triangular track on the front axle for perfect traction and minimal soil compaction. 4WD can be added on the rear axle for safe turning.

Energy-saving drivetrain

The proven belt drive delivers significantly better harvesting performance than hydraulic alternatives and impresses with maximum efficiency, easy maintenance, and excellent adaptability.  

Autonomous road driving mode

In road driving mode, the engine speed is adjusted to suit the desired driving speed. A high rpm is not required when driving to and from the field, for example, so the engine is throttled accordingly. This results in lower fuel consumption, a significant reduction in noise exposure, and less wear and tear.
