Split NH 255
Powerful harvesting of two plots in a single sweep
The new WINTERSTEIGER Split NH 255 is a specially developed plot combine for harvesting two plots in a single sweep – with an external width of only 255 cm. Say goodbye to mountains of paperwork and high transport costs! The machine delivers the performance of a conventional commercial combine yet meets all the demands of plot harvesting. The maximum external width of 2.55 m means that no route permits or special permits are required for the vehicle's width (whether it is transported on its own wheels or on a truck).
Split NH Cracker
Innovation in harvesting technology
Harvested material from genetically modified organisms (GMOs) may not legally leave the field until this variety has been officially approved. For this reason, the harvested material must be destroyed on the spot and prevented from germinating. GMO-modified varieties are predominantly grown in North America.
Special grinders or crackers that destroy/grind the harvested material on the plot combine during harvesting are therefore required to easily render the crop sterile. This prevents a different fertilizing effect from impacting the following year's harvest. The machine can be used with or without seed destruction when non-GMO crops are harvested.
With the new Split NH Cracker option, we are expanding our product portfolio and offering a tailor-made solution for chopping the crop and distributing the fragmented material evenly over the entire harvested area.
