Function
Operating the MLN sample cleaner could not be easier: add the sample, start the cleaning process – and you're done!
It works by de-awning the sample before it falls through the aspiration chamber, where dust and light soiling are extracted. The seed then runs over the straw sieve, which removes bigger impurities, followed by the sand sieve, which sieves out smaller particles. The clean sample then runs into a collecting pan, while impurities are collected separately.
A feed funnel can be optionally added to efficiently clean even larger sample quantities, for example for trial plots.
