Plot Motion plot drill becomes a plot fertilizer spreader

Thanks to our flexible seeder platform system, we can construct the Plot Motion plot drill as a plot fertilizer spreader.

To do so, we mount a frame with deflection plates or a frame with fertilizer openers depending on requirements. Fertilizer can be fed either via a belted cone, bucket wheel, or Gandy boxes. The machine ensures even distribution of the fertilizer across the entire plot. With a belted cone and bucket wheel, different amounts and types of fertilizer can be applied to each plot. If using Gandy boxes, we can fill each box with a different product and individually control the rate or switch off the box depending on the plot using the Easy Plant software.

The attachment frame for the deflection plates offers height-adjustable ground clearance from 250 to 700 mm, with even more ground clearance being possible thanks to the height-adjustable wheel carriers. The attachment frame for the deflection plates can easily be replaced with an opener frame – and the fertilizer spreader is converted into a plot drill. The versatile plot fertilizer spreader can handle two tasks instead of one!

Application example: Fertilizer spreader with 4 Gandy boxes

The fertilizer spreader shown has 4 Gandy boxes, each of which contains a different product. Our customer also provided an opener tool bar, which we integrated into the machine. All four boxes dispense the material into the rotary distributor, from where it is pneumatically transported into the rows.
